# Snipe Tasks

> Prepare a snipe tactic for a target mint with selected wallets and a buy amount range.

Snipe is prepared as a tactic.

Use it when you want selected wallets ready for a target mint.

## What you set

* target mint
* Wallet Group
* selected wallets
* minimum buy amount
* maximum buy amount
* buy fee settings when shown
* optional auto trade after launch

## Steps

1. Open **Tasks > New Task > Snipe**.
2. Paste the target mint.
3. Choose the Wallet Group.
4. Select wallets.
5. Set the buy amount range.
6. Choose whether auto trade after launch should be enabled.
7. Save the tactic.

## Before using it

Check balances and wallet count. Make sure the max amount fits the group.

Snipe does not directly start from the composer. Save it as a tactic, then use it from the launch or tactic flow when you are ready.
