# Wallet Setup

> Prepare the funding wallet, wallet groups, SOL distribution, and sweep path.

Wallets is where you prepare SOL before a launch or task.

Main Distributor is the funding wallet. Wallet Groups are the wallets that launch, buy, sell, warm up, and sweep.

## Wallet roles

| Item | What it does |
| ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Main Distributor | Sends SOL into groups and receives swept SOL back. |
| Wallet Group | Holds the wallets used for launches and tasks. |
| Refresh | Reads the latest balances without moving funds. |
| Distribute | Sends SOL from Main Distributor to a Wallet Group. |
| Sweep | Sends leftover SOL from a Wallet Group back to Main Distributor. |

## Normal flow

1. Add Main Distributor.
2. Create a Wallet Group.
3. Refresh balances.
4. Distribute SOL to the group.
5. Run the launch or task.
6. Sell, stop, or end when needed.
7. Refresh balances again.
8. Sweep leftover SOL after cleanup.

## Good habits

Use a group name you can recognize later. Refresh before sending. Keep extra SOL for fees and cleanup. Before sweeping, check whether the wallets still hold tokens.

## Private keys

Reveal or export private keys only when you are ready to store them somewhere private. Anyone with a private key can control that wallet.

Private keys are not needed for troubleshooting. Keep them out of tickets and chat.
